The Nazdar Company is committed to promoting an environment of health and wellness and has taken a holistic approach to how wellness is defined within the organization. DELTA is the name of Nazdar’s Employee Wellness Program. DELTA is an acronym that we developed to bring added attention to three important areas of health and wellness to include; Diet, Exercise and Lifestyle, along with T.A. which stands for “Turn-Around.”

In mathematics the word “DELTA” and the triangle symbol are both used to represent CHANGE. Nazdar’s DELTA logo was also designed to bring specific attention to the areas of wellness where we will be focusing our efforts … diet, exercise and lifestyle. We are focused on making changes for the better … change for life.

We have a dedicated DELTA Committee with DELTA Champions who help to organize various activities and programs which can earn employees DELTA Points that can be redeemed for gift cards.

While health and wellness are key drivers of our culture at Nazdar, we also recognize the need to provide a competitive and comprehensive benefits package. Below you will find the various components that make up our benefits package.

Healthcare Coverage

Group health coverage is available under a PPO plan with CIGNA healthcare for employees, spouses and dependent children. Coverage begins after 60 days of employment.

Life and AD&D Insurance

Group Life and AD&D benefits are provided by Lincoln Financial Group at no cost to you. Coverage under both plans is equal to 2 times your annual salary, up to a maximum of $400,000.

401(k)

The company will match up to the first 6% you contribute to the plan. The match amount is determined and paid annually. You are fully vested in the company match after 3 years.

Education Assistance

After six months of service, employees may be reimbursed up to $2,500 annually in tuition and book costs for pre-approved educational expenses.

Dental Coverage

Group dental insurance is available under a PPO plan with CIGNA for employees, spouses and dependent children. Coverage begins after 60 days of employment.

Voluntary Life Insurance

You can elect additional life insurance coverage for yourself in amounts equal to 1, 2 or 3 times your annual salary. Coverage is also available for your spouse and dependent children.

Flex Spending Accounts

Each year you are given the opportunity to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to establish a medical and/or dependent care reimbursement account to pay out-of-pocket expenses.

Paid Time Off

You will receive paid time off your first year of employment based on your month of hire and thereafter based on your years of service. The company regularly observes 9 paid holidays and provides 2 paid floating holidays each year.

Vision Insurance

Group vision coverage is available under VSP for employees, spouses and dependent children. Coverage begins the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment.

Disability Coverage

Short- and Long-Term Disability is provided at no cost to you. If you are unable to work due to illness or injury, your salary is continued at a level dependent upon your length of service.

Employee Assistance Plan

You, your immediate and extended family members are each eligible to receive 6 free confidential counseling sessions per year for emotional, legal, financial or substance abuse issues.

Wellness Program

The company is committed to the well-being of its employees. We offer a wide-range of health-related activities, paid bio-metric screenings and health risk assessments.
